Jacob's play, The Third Rail, has been chosen as a finalist for the NEWvember Festival. They read over 500 scripts and have narrowed the list to 50. The Festival is produced by both Tangent Theater Company and AboutFace in Dublin, Ireland. For more info, www.newvemberfestival.com.

Jacob will be shooting a short film next weekend entitled "Other People's People," co-starring Darcy Fowler, Catherine Curtin, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Will Pullen, and others. The script is written by Carlee Briglia and Mike Lavoie, and it will be directed by James Fauvell.

Jacob's play, The Third Rail, has won the DVRF/O'Henry Productions Emerging Playwrights Contest. The play will receive a fully produced, staged reading in the fall of 2015. Jacob just completed a first draft of his newest play entitled The Home Church Play. The play centers around a group of evangelical Christians who have seceded from their larger Southern Baptist congregation in order to form a more conservative collective in the face of Y2K.

Jacob just returned from acting in a weeklong workshop of Samuel D. Hunter's new play, The Harvest. The workshop was made possible by Long Wharf/White Heron out on Nantucket Island, and the cast consisted of Micah Stock, Rebecca Henderson, Emma Myles, Elvy Yost, Cameron Scoggins, and Michael Countryman.

Jacob's play, The Third Rail, has been chosen as a finalist for the NEWvember Festival. They read over 500 scripts and have narrowed the list to 50. The Festival is produced by both Tangent Theater Company and AboutFace in Dublin, Ireland. For more info, www.newvemberfestival.com.

Jacob will be shooting a short film next weekend entitled "Other People's People," co-starring Darcy Fowler, Catherine Curtin, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Will Pullen, and others. The script is written by Carlee Briglia and Mike Lavoie, and it will be directed by James Fauvell.

Jacob's play, The Third Rail, has won the DVRF/O'Henry Productions Emerging Playwrights Contest. The play will receive a fully produced, staged reading in the fall of 2015. The reading is produced by Douglas Ross and Oliver Roth, and will be directed by Mark Schneider. For more info, please check out www.dvrf.org.

Jacob just completed a first draft of his newest play entitled The Home Church Play. The play centers around a group of evangelical Christians who have seceded from their larger Southern Baptist congregation in order to form a more conservative collective in the face of Y2K.

Jacob just returned from acting in a weeklong workshop of Samuel D. Hunter's new play, The Harvest. The workshop was made possible by Long Wharf/White Heron out on Nantucket Island, and the cast consisted of Micah Stock, Rebecca Henderson, Emma Myles, Elvy Yost, Cameron Scoggins, and Michael Countryman.
